About Vijaya Eye Foundation

The Vijaya Eye Foundation with a team of experienced professionals and state-of-the Art technology is aimed at improving the lives of those afflicted with eye diseases.

At this centre, the first digital imaging system in India was setup in the year 1989. The Excimer Laser facility at Vijaya Eye Foundation was one of the earliest of its kind in India. It is also one of the largest in the world in terms of the number of patients successfully treated. In the year 1997 – An indo-cyanine green angiography unit was established for the first time in Asia. The angiography unit has won recognition for its excellent standards throughout India and in this regard the World Health Organization has recognized the centre for short term training fellowship.
